Pair of "Transat" armchairs, original design circa 1926, in black-lacquered wood with reclining

with reclining back and detached armrests forming a front base with square-section legs terminating in small chrome-plated metal shoes. Rear base with double legs linked by a spacer. Back and seat upholstered in black quilted leather. 

Publisher's stamp on upholstery.
